What do we expect from a construction machine operator?
To work in this position, we require a minimum of professional education, experience in working as an operator and a license to operate the machine. The operator should be open to working abroad. Our company most often implements projects in Germany, but also in Great Britain, the Netherlands and Ireland. We also require availability to travel for a period of one to four months, as well as, of course, commitment to the work and duties performed.
What experience should a construction machine operator have?
Any experience related to working with photovoltaics is welcome in our company, especially when working with construction machinery. It is also important to have appropriate training in the operation of construction machinery, which will enable the operator to work efficiently and safely on the photovoltaic farm. In addition, we value operators who have: – health and safety training certificate: VCA (required in the Netherlands) or SCC, – driving license cat.
B – knowledge of English or German at a level enabling basic communication during the stay on the project.
What are the responsibilities of all construction machinery operators?
Some of the competencies and responsibilities on the construction site are the same for every construction machine operator. So we have collected a universal set of information that is crucial for all positions related to machine operation. Every operator of a construction machine should: – be open to work in various weather conditions, – adapt their work to the changing conditions in the photovoltaic farm, – be able to read and interpret plans and technical drawings, – comply with all health and safety rules and regulations and work regulations, – control and take care of the technical condition of the machine, monitor the level of fuel and oil, as well as ensure proper loading of the machine, – take care of cleanliness and order inside the cabin and keep an eye on the condition of tires and other elements – Collaborate with other farm staff, including the project manager and assembly staff, to ensure that the farm is working effectively and efficiently.
Loader / excavator operator – responsibilities
Depending on the project, we have an excavator or loader on the construction site. The equipment and responsibilities of an excavator operator and a loader are similar, so we will describe them in one place. A loader operator is a person responsible for unloading and loading materials and transporting them on a construction site. The excavator operator performs earthworks such as excavation for electrical wires and transformer station foundations and levels the ground.
A loader and excavator operator has three main tasks:1) Transport and/or earthmoving: the operator prepares the construction site and machine for work and places and segregates materials or excavated material. 2) Quality control: the operator regularly checks the quality of the work done and adjusts the machine settings as needed. 3) Machine maintenance: the operator records any service activities of the machine. 
Staking machine operator – responsibilities
The operator of the staking machine is responsible for driving the piles into the ground to ensure a stable structure for the photovoltaic panels. The work of a staking machine operator comes down to three main tasks: 1) Driving posts: The operator operates the staking machine and drives the posts into the ground at specific locations in the PV farm. 2) Quality control: the operator regularly checks the quality of the work done and adjusts the machine settings as needed. 3) Machine maintenance: the operator performs all the servicing of the machine.
Tractor operator – requirements and responsibilities
The tractor operator is responsible for the safe transport of materials and equipment on the construction site in various terrain conditions. The most common items transported by the tractor include mounting elements, photovoltaic panels, cables and any other materials that need to be transported from one place to another on the construction site. The tractor operator’s job comes down to three main tasks:1) Material transport: The tractor operator is responsible for loading the appropriate materials and transporting them to the unloading site and distributing the materials to the appropriate locations on the construction site.
2) Quality control: the operator regularly checks the quality of the work carried out according to the received plan 3) Machine maintenance: the operator performs all servicing of the machine and the trailer.
