As a company, we are known primarily for the construction of photovoltaic farms, but our offer also includes another area: the construction of noise barriers using our own innovative method. Due to the rapid development of this branch of our business, we are looking for fitters and foremen who will work on the construction of noise barriers and fences. However, before we move on to specific job offers, we will introduce you to the topic of noise barriers. We’re anxious for you to find out what it’s like to work on screens in our company. Thanks to this article You will learn about the types of noise barriers, the construction process and the duties and requirements for the position of a screen and fence fitter and a foreman with a license to operate an excavator.

Types of noise barriers

Work on the construction of noise barriers is related to the construction of earth and cassette screens. Each type of screen has its own distinct process and stages of erecting the structure. That is why we are looking for people who can cope with work in changing conditions. Earth-type screens do not require deep foundations and are mounted on an aggregate foundation. On the other hand, standard cassette screens on poles are driven into the ground with a special vibratory hammer. Both construction methods we offer are a more environmentally friendly option than traditional noise barriers on poles. Our screens are easily overgrown with plants, providing a natural decoration for the environment. And what are the preparations for erecting the noise screen itself and the stages of its construction? Let’s check it out!

Stages of construction of earth screens

1. Prepare the area and dig a trench 30-50 cm deep and about 1.5 m wide. 2 We pour aggregate, that is, crushed stones, in layers, compacting each layer with a special machine. 3. assemble steel profiles from “A” shaped frames, forming the skeleton of the screen. 4 Put the steel nets on the sides of the screen with geotextile or coconut mat attached. 5 Gradually backfill the screen with earth or aggregate using an excavator and a special hydraulically controlled grab bucket. 6. Plant ivy or vines on both sides of the screen, and sow grass on the top surface of the screen.

Stages of construction of cassette screens

1. We drive the steel pipes into the ground using a special vibratory hammer mounted on the excavator arm. 2 We insert H-pillars (I-beams) up to 8 meters high and weighing from a few hundred kilograms to over a ton by welding steel profiles. 3. pour concrete into the pipe to permanently fix the pole in the foundation. 4 Set the next screen poles at the specified intervals. 5 Between the poles insert a concrete block 0.5-1.0 m high, which will be the base for the panels. (6) Finally, again between the poles, we insert cassettes made of steel, aluminum, concrete, acrylic (Plexiglas) or polycarbonate. Depending on the frequency of projects, the installation team also deals with the construction of fences around photovoltaic farms. The work of installing fences is responsible and requires precision and accuracy. The installation of fencing is a key stage in the construction of the farm, ensuring the safety and security of the installation. Workers must skillfully handle tools and materials to ensure a sturdy and durable fence. This requires teamwork, good work organization and strict adherence to safety standards. As you can see, those working on the construction of screens and fences have very important tasks to perform on the construction site. That is why we are looking for experienced and responsible employees.
